About Beals & Darling

Beals & Darling is a contemporary art gallery on historic Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico, founded by artists Bobby Beals and Jessyjo Darling.

At its heart, the gallery is about place and storytelling. We believe art has the ability to hold the memory of a landscape, a moment, a culture or a personal history; connecting us more deeply to the places we come from, the places we move through, and the stories we carry with us.

Our collection brings together contemporary artists whose work is grounded in a strong sense of story. Across painting, sculpture and works made with natural and unexpected materials, we are drawn to artists with a distinctive point of view and a meaningful connection to what they create.

As practicing artists ourselves, we wanted Beals & Darling to feel less like a traditional gallery and more like a place of discovery. A space where collectors can understand not only what they are looking at, but who made it, where it came from, and the story behind it.

Set among the historic adobe buildings of Canyon Road, Beals & Darling is an evolving collection of artists, objects and stories, brought together by a shared belief that the art we live with can connect us to something beyond the object itself.
